You may see a payment directly to the cruise line for your cruise. The total cost of your trip may include airfaire, motorcoach, etc. which would not get charged to the cruise line. That portion gets charged to Grand American Tours.
Check to make sure you are looking at a document from the cruise line. All of the cruise lines offer their own travel insurance. This just means you did not purchase travel insurance from the cruise line. If you purchase insurance through Grand American Tours you should receive a confirmation and the insurance information. Please contact us if you did not receive them.

Air schedules are not available until 45 days prior to departure.
Direct flights are not always possible with groups.
Seat assignments are provided if the airline allows it. If you are missing seat assignments on your flight itinerary, we were not able to get them in advance and you will get those when you check-in at the airport.
Boarding passes for group air reservations are not available online. You can get them when you check in at the airport. We cannot give you a confirmation number for your flights because there is only one number that applies to the whole group.
If you want to cancel your cruise, please send us a notification in writing.

A passport card can only be used for travel by land or by sea. A regular passport is needed anytime someone is flying from or to another country including Canada and Mexico.
IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED BY EVERY CRUISE LINE TO TRAVEL WITH A PASSPORT THAT IS VALID FOR 6 MONTHS AFTER YOUR CRUISE ENDS.
If something happens and you get stuck out of the country for some time, you want to be sure you will be able to fly home.
Documents are usually ready between 45 and 30 days prior to departure. Luggage tags will be sent with the documents. For Princess Cruises® their online check in must be done in order to print the luggage tags.
There is usually a fee for every checked bag. Check the airline website for details. The first bag may be free, but that is usually for International flights.
For cruise lines that offer military discounts, the discount only applies to the person who was/is in the military. It does not apply to spouses if they did not also serve in the military.
For ships that have casinos onboard, they are open in international waters. They have to be 10 miles off the coast of any port.
