DAY 1 | TOUR START – VANCOUVER

Arrive in Vancouver and depart by private motorcoach for a transfer to the Sheraton Wall Centre, Vancouver.

Included in your package is your admission to the Vancouver Lookout. Your adventure starts with a 40 second glass elevator that climbs over 550 feet to the panoramic observation deck. From here, you'll gaze out onto Metro Vancouver’s cosmopolitan downtown, the vast Pacific Ocean, and the beautiful North Shore mountains. Transportation to and from the Vancouver Lookout is not included.


DAY 2 | VANCOUVER TO KAMLOOPS

Board your private motorcoach and transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer Station.  

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Vancouver Station at 7:30am PT. Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch are included onboard.


Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops between 6:00pm and 7:30pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. Upon arrival at the Kamloops Station, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation.


DAY 3 | KAMLOOPS TO LAKE LOUISE

Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the station from your hotel. Your pick-up times will be provided with your final travel documents.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 6:25am PT, to continue your journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels, and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your admission to Canadian national parks is included in your package. Breakfast and Lunch are included on the train. Onboard host gratuity included.


Accommodation: Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise ~ Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta's Banff National Park. Discover endless outdoor recreational activities including hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking and river rafting.



DAY 4 | LAKE LOUISE

Start your day with a group breakfast at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise 


Board your private motorcoach and enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Athabasca Falls and the Columbia Icefields. This icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle as well as being one of the most accessible in North America. It is here you will ride a unique Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features.  You will transfer to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

DAY 5 | LAKE LOUISE TO BANFF, WITH YOHO NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Board your private motorcoach and enjoy a sightseeing tour through Yoho National Park. Transfer to Banff.


Group lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge
